Since the beginning of my studies, I have been interested in topics related to reproduction from an evolutionary perspective, and I discovered the advantages of arachnid models to study reproductive interactions in the context of sexual selection. I did my undergraduate and PhD studies at the National University of C\u00f3rdoba (Argentina), focusing on the evolutionary biology of scorpions of the family Bothriuridae (Urophonius brachycentrus and U. achalensis) in mountainous environments of central Argentina. In sympatric and allopatric populations of these species, we elucidated interspecific and intraspecific behavioural, morphological and physiological patterns of sexual traits at pre- and post-copulatory levels. In this way, I assessed the consequences of reproductive interference on different dimensions of the life history of these species.
